PETA has learned that Mercury Air Cargo, an air cargo ground handling company, is considering handling shipments to Los Angeles of monkeys destined for imprisonment and experimentation in laboratories in the U.S.
With your help, PETA has persuaded nearly every major airline in the world to stop transporting monkeys to laboratories, and it appears that Mercury may be one of the few companies willing to dirty its hands with this shameful trade. It has refused to answer our questions regarding its involvement in and policies on live-animal cargo.
Please urge Mercury Air to come clean about its live-animal transportation policy and abandon any proposed plans to handle shipments of monkeys destined for laboratories.
Thank you for your compassion for animals.
