To All Women who are all mothers because you all nurture someone or something, people, pets, gardens etc. This is YOUR DAY to celebrate yourself! Treat yourself to a massage, a day of meditation, self-care, a walk on a beach, in a forest or a park. Celebrate with family and friends.

The Afghan people say, “Paradise lies at the feet of the mother.” My Afghan brother wrote to us and said, “I am the luckiest person in the world because I have 2 mothers! My Afghan birth mother and my angel from Allah American mother. So, I laugh more than others who only have one mother. But I cry twice as much because God forbid, I should lose one.”

Mom has been getting Mothers’ Day wishes all weekend. Here are just 2 examples: “Happy Mothers’ Day to one of the bestest moms I know!

“….I respect the heck out of what you accomplished in your lifetime, especially with Chandra. You are one of my heroes.”
